Dear HARZIG, I’m sorry that I don’t know well yet about hydrocom reciprocating compressor capacity controller. But with simple explanation, capacity of compressor is controlled through suction valve. Thank you for visitingand your commentsto this blog . There is no standard or code used for power and cooling water requirement calculation for compressor.
For compressor, there are API-617, API-618, API-619 that mostly used in Oil and gas, Petrochemical in our region, but not for calculation such as in this blog. You may read these standards for detail mostly for mechanical hardware design.
Pak Fedrian, you can also download files for centrifugal compressor if you like.
Herewith attached is calculation for reciprocating compressor. Don’t hesitate to ask me if you want me to send other calculation.

There is revision on basic manual for centrifugal compressor, mainly for compressibility factor (Z) that shall be always use in relation with real gas density. And therefore, calculation sheets also has been updated regarding to those. For easier use, visual basic for Z factor reading is inserted to the excel calculation sheets.
